Of course, it's named after Garty Lovejoy, one of Dawson's most famous dancers during the gold rush era. Opened in Calgary in 1980, Cash Casino was Alberta's first private casino. Initially, only charitable table games and agricultural and religious themed events were allowed at the venue.
